Our Mission
Throughout the years, we found that creating games is more than simply offering momentary entertainment. Often, our games stimulate collaboration, creativity and personal growth.
This is our mission as well: make sure every game is challenging and stimulates learning, creativity and teamwork in some way. We also try to combine this with a wholesome and cozy tone to make sure players of all ages can enjoy our games!
Thomas Huijser
Project manager - Game designer - Composer
I work on a wide range of game projects, from serious and educational games to entertainment-focused experiences. I design and develop both digital and analogue games and I enjoy combining mechanics from both media to come up with new and exciting ideas. I’m particularly interested in mechanics that make the player feel empowered or in control and wondering what the best solution is to a puzzle or problem. Alongside game design and development, I’m passionate about creating music for games because it can lift the game to the next level!
Leon Oost
Game designer - Artist - Marketeer
At Double Bird, I work on various tasks, but my primary focus is on Chriss Cross's marketing. This includes our external image and developing videos for social media platforms. I have diverse experience with entertainment and serious games, and a background in game design-oriented studies.
